Mission
IFEIA exists to assess business and professional programmes against a published standard, to record each decision in a public registry, and to help accredited institutions improve year after year. A judgement is only useful if it can be understood, checked and challenged. We build the whole system around that idea.
Values
Independence
Decisions are taken on the evidence and the published standards, by people who take no part where they have an interest. Conflicts of interest are declared, recorded and managed.
Rigour
Each axis of the framework is examined with evidence, not assertion. A programme is accredited for what it demonstrably does.
Openness
Standards, process, policies and outcomes are published. We tell applicants what we will ask for and why.
Fairness
Every applicant is assessed against the same standard. Reasons are written down, and an appeal route exists that is separate from the original decision.
Improvement
Accreditation is not an endpoint. Annual monitoring and the seventh framework axis keep the question open: what did you learn, and what did you change?
What we will not do
- Present IFEIA accreditation as government recognition.
- Publish figures, endorsements or affiliations that we cannot document.
- Guarantee an outcome to any applicant.
