Using this website
This website provides information about IFEIA, its standards and its public registry. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
What IFEIA accreditation is
IFEIA is a private, independent, non-governmental body. Its accreditation rests on its own published standards and process. It is not a government licence or approval and it does not replace any authorisation that an institution needs in order to operate or to award qualifications. IFEIA does not guarantee that any other body, employer, institution or authority will recognise an IFEIA accreditation or a qualification from an accredited institution.
The registry and its limits
The registry record shown on this website on the day you consult it is IFEIA's statement of an institution's accreditation status, level and scope. An accreditation covers only the scope, level and dates stated on its record. We take care that information is accurate and current, but the website may contain errors or become out of date; if you spot one, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it.
Intellectual property
The IFEIA name, logo and Accredited badge, and the text of the framework, standards and policies, belong to IFEIA. You may quote the text with attribution and a link. You may refer to IFEIA by name to state a fact accurately, for example that an institution is listed in the registry. Any other use of the logo or badge is governed by the Use of the Mark policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the website or try to disrupt, probe or overload it.
- Do not present registry information in a way that is misleading, or alter or fabricate certificates or records.
- Do not use the website to impersonate IFEIA or an accredited institution.
- Do not use automated tools to copy the registry at a rate that harms the service.

No warranty; limit of liability
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent the law allows, IFEIA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on the website alone, and its total liability in connection with the website is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Delaware have non-exclusive jurisdiction, but this does not limit any mandatory right you have to bring a claim in your home country.
