The marks
The IFEIA name, logo and Accredited badge are marks of IFEIA. They show an accreditation that can be checked, and are not decoration.
Who may use the badge
An institution with an Active accreditation or recognition on the IFEIA registry, for the programmes and level stated on its record. Use starts on the effective date on the record and ends when the accreditation is suspended, withdrawn or expires.
Rules for the badge
- Show it with the programme or level concerned.
- Link it to the institution's registry record or to the Verify page.
- Do not alter, recolour, crop or animate it, or combine it with other marks.
- Do not suggest government recognition, or the endorsement or accreditation of any other body.
- Do not state or imply that IFEIA accreditation covers programmes, levels or locations outside the record.
Permitted references by anyone
Anyone may refer to IFEIA by name to state a fact accurately and fairly, for example that an institution appears in the registry, or in news, research, comparison and review, as long as the reference is not misleading and does not suggest IFEIA sponsors or endorses the person making it.
Misuse
Report misuse to [email protected]. Where we find misuse we will normally write to the person concerned, say what must be corrected and by when, and consider their response. For serious or continuing misuse, or where urgent action is needed to protect the public, we may act without that step. We may require removal, suspend or withdraw an accreditation, and take other lawful action to protect the marks.
Ownership
Nothing in this policy transfers any right in the marks. IFEIA may update this policy; the current version is the one on this page.
Effective 30 October 2026. Questions: [email protected].
